You may see error on sending OTP from SMS Alert WordPress plugin due to various reasons. The error looks like below:
There was an error in sending the OTP to the given Phone Number. Please Try Again or contact site Admin.
One of the common reason for it is template mismatch.
If you have changed the OTP template recently, you need to get it approved from your SMS Alert Dashboard. Please follow this link on how to request templates for approval.
Other reasons that might cause this error are as below:
- No balance in your SMS Alert account
- Your senderid is not approved
- You have recently updated your SMS Alert account password, but did not updated it in SMS Alert plugin.
