  5. 5. Which types of events trigger SMS notifications for LearnPress?

You can “Enable All/desired events” for both the customer and admin sides. Likely candidates include: course enrollment, course completion, payment success/failure, etc. You should check your plugin’s events list for full details.

    Troubleshooting steps:
    – Ensure your SMS Alert plugin is properly configured (credentials, balance, sender ID).
    – Verify that you have enabled the correct templates (customer/admin) in the LearnPress section and saved them.
    – Check that you have entered valid admin mobile numbers.
    – Make sure the tokens used in the templates match available fields.
    – Ensure phone numbers are captured in the correct format.
    – If you have logs, check for any error codes or failed deliveries.

  7. 7. Are there any special considerations or limitations noted?

    – The knowledge-base page is brief; verify on your setup which specific events trigger SMS notifications.
    – Ensure compatibility between your version of LearnPress and the SMS Alert plugin.
    – Be aware of cost and compliance (DLT, sender ID rules) when sending SMS.
    – Prioritize which events trigger SMS to manage costs.
