Send SMS notifications for the BuddyPress using SMS Alert
BuddyPress is a WordPress community plugin that helps create social networking and membership-based websites. It allows users to register, create profiles, send private messages, join groups, share activity updates, and interact with other members directly within a WordPress site. It is widely used for online communities, schools, companies, forums, and niche social networks.
OTP Verification on Signup
- Click on SMS Alert in menu (under Woocommerce)
- Navigate to OTP Settings
- Enable OTP for Registration
- Scroll down and modify the OTP template if required, (ensure the OTP tag [otp] remains in the message template)
- Finally click on save
Login with OTP
- Click on SMS Alert in menu (under Woocommerce)
- Navigate to OTP Settings
- Enable OTP for Login and Login with OTP
- Scroll down and modify the OTP template if required, (ensure the OTP tag [otp] remains in the message template)
- Finally click on save changes
